We are looking for part-time help from May through September. It is ideally suited to a couple living in their RV for the summer. We will provide a free RV space and minimum wage for hours worked. Very flexible work hours. Most weeks it would be 15-20 hours of work per week, with lots of time off and days off to explore the area. Work includes cabin cleaning, mowing, weed whacking, cutting & stacking fire wood, and some assistance with other resort tasks such as cleaning boats. Contact us via email: email@example.com
Thanks to all of our guests for making our 10th Season, in 2019, a very enjoyable one and for all who have come to stay over the past 10 years. We have many great memories of fun times with you.
We wish everyone a very Happy Holiday Season and a very Happy New Year . We look forward to seeing old and new guests in 2020.
We will be putting the resort on the market some time this year. It is now time to retire from our post-retirement career and pass the reins on to someone younger..... hopefully we will find wonderful people to take over.
Summer is here and the lake is beautiful. We are still working on our house renos but cabins and campsite, boat rentals, are all ready to go.
We are looking forward to spring and are taking reservations for the 2019 season. With the announcement of the new Port Hardy to Bella Coola ferry beginning in early June we encourage travellers to consider taking BC Ferries Route 28 this summer. It is a spectacular journey. It is our guests who make our summer a fun experience, we look forward to meeting all of you.

We had a great season, met many new guests and renewed our friendships with our repeat guests. The fires did not affect us directly this year, although the smoke did cause some people to change their travel plans. We completed a new guest patio and upgraded some cabin amenities. The season has now come to a close as the cool weather has set in. We are accepting reservations for 2019 via email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to book early as many of our guests have already booked for next year. Thanks again to all of our visitors for making this another good year. Kerry and Ron
The ice is slowly receding and melting. There is enough open water from the stream and along in front of the resort now for the water fowl to enjoy. Two Loons returned, along with several ducks and geese. We watched an Osprey successfully fishing. We have been enjoying the sunny weather and getting lots of work done in preparation for opening in a few weeks.
We are looking forward to meeting new guests and seeing our regular guests this coming summer. We plan to open May 18th. Please email us to reserve a cabin or camp site. Our email address is: email@example.com
The new, improved ferry service from Port Hardy to Bella Coola will be in place this summer, with a new ship, a longer season and more frequent sailings. If you are interested in seeing the beauty of the wild BC coast, be sure to book early with BC Ferries.
We are now closed for the 2017 season. We will re-open mid May 2018. We are taking reservations throughout the winter, via email and phone. We look forward to seeing all of our guests next summer. Thanks to all who made the effort to get to us this summer during a difficult year. Have a great winter.
The fishing has been terrific and fall is in the air. We are having cool, foggy mornings, but the sun burns it off by 9 am and the fish are jumping.
After a long, hot, smoky summer we finally have clear skies and crisp mornings. We have been very fortunate to not have been hurt by the wildfires burning throughout the region, other than loss of business from all of the highway closures, evacuation orders and alerts. That all seems to be in the past now, the orders have been lifted for the communities along highway 20, and the highway is fully open again in both directions.
It looks like beautiful early fall fishing conditions, as usual for September. We have been housing/feeding helicopter crew here, and are now looking forward to seeing our regular September guests again.
