Our Story

Nimpo Lake Resort grew out of a few simple cabins built on this shoreline in the late 1960s. For many years, it was run by Mary Kirner, who raised a family here and turned the place into a quiet hub for ranchers, loggers, bush pilots and travellers.

Today, the resort is still small and hands-on. We try to keep the focus on the lake, the cabins and the community around us, while honouring the people who came before.
