Set in the heart of the Chilcotin Plateau, Nimpo Lake Resort offers simple, nature-based experiences shaped by water, forest, and open sky. Days here move at a different pace—guided by weather, light, and the quiet rhythm of the lake.
Lake & Water
Calm‑water paddling near shore; canoes and kayaks for registered guests; wear PFDs.
Parents/guardians must supervise children at all times; resort staff do not supervise.

Fishing
Nimpo Lake is known for its healthy population of rainbow trout. Fishing can be enjoyed right from shore or from a canoe, making it accessible for both experienced anglers and first-time fishers.
Hiking & Exploring
Volcanic colours and open alpine in Tweedsmuir Park; best late July–September.

Wildlife & Birdwatching
Wildlife sightings are a natural part of staying at Nimpo Lake. Birds, waterfowl, and other animals are often seen around the lake and the surrounding forest.

Evenings & Night Sky
As daylight fades, evenings are often spent around a fire, watching sunsets, or simply enjoying the open sky. On clear nights, the lack of city lights makes stargazing a quiet highlight of the stay.
