Paddling on Nimpo Lake

Still water, open skies, and space to move at your own pace.

Paddling on Nimpo Lake Resort

Nimpo Lake is well-suited for canoeing and kayaking, with wide-open water and quiet stretches along the shoreline. Many guests paddle in the early morning or late afternoon, when the lake is calm, and reflections are strongest.

This is not about distance or speed, but about being on the water — drifting, exploring small inlets, or simply enjoying the view back toward the cabins.

Registered guests may use canoes and kayaks near the resort at no charge. Wear PFDs and stay within sight of shore.
