Wildlife & Birdwatching

A place where wildlife is part of daily life, not a special event.

Birds, fish, and other wildlife are commonly seen around the lake and along nearby trails. Early mornings are especially active, with loons, waterfowl, and songbirds frequenting the shoreline.

Guests are asked to observe quietly and respectfully, maintain distance, and avoid causing disturbance. Never feed wildlife.

Best May–October around wetlands and forest edges.
