  1. When is the resort open?
    Seasonal operations May–October; Mary Cabin & Rainbow Lodge are year‑round.
  2. Is there a lifeguard?
    No. Parents/guardians must supervise children at all times; lifejackets (PFDs) are required in boats. Resort staff do not supervise the waterfront.
  3. Minimum stay?
    Two nights.
  4. Are pets allowed?
    Hilltop is no‑pet; other cabins require prior approval. Fees apply (see Policies).
  5. Smoking/vaping rules?
    Indoors is a NON‑SMOKING / VAPING FACILITY. Use designated outdoor areas only.
  6. What kitchen gear is provided?
    In non‑Glamping cabins: oven/range, fridge, basic cookware and utensils. See each cabin page for details.
  7. Internet & mobile coverage?
    Resort‑wide Wi‑Fi. Mobile service can be limited—enable Wi‑Fi calling.
  8. Do you rent boats?
    No motorboat rentals. Registered guests may use canoes/kayaks near shore at no charge.
  9. Fire pits & BBQs?
    Yes. Follow current fire‑ban rules; use designated pits and keep water nearby.
  10. How do I check in?
    Self-check-in using a door code sent via email. Check‑out 10:00 AM; Check‑in 3:00 PM.
  11. Parking & trailers?
    Parking at each cabin; please move trailers to the RV/overflow area.
  12. Accessibility?
    Our cabins are not fully accessible. Please contact us with your specific needs before booking.
  13. Early check‑in / late check‑out?
    Subject to availability. Email info@nimpolakeresort.com in advance. Late check‑out may be available for a fee.
  14. Cancellation & deposits?
    See the booking page for current deposit and cancellation terms; these may vary by season.
  15. Campfires & firewood?
    Use only designated fire pits; observe provincial/municipal fire bans. Ask at check‑in about wood availability.
  16. Cribs or extra beds?
    Not provided.
  17. Closest fuel & groceries?
    Stock up in Williams Lake (cheapest options). Fewer, more expensive choices west of Williams Lake.
  18. Winter road & vehicle advice?
    If travelling in winter, use winter tires/chains and plan for short daylight. DriveBC has current conditions.
  19. Garbage, recycling & wildlife safety?
    Follow posted bear‑safe guidelines. Use designated bins and never leave food outside.
  20. Drones & fishing licences?
    Drones are restricted in many park areas. BC Freshwater Fishing licences are required—see official links.
  21. Long stays or monthly rates?
    Possible by request; email info@nimpolakeresort.com.
  22. Small events or group stays?
    Possible with quiet‑hours compliance. Please contact us with details.
  23. Emergencies & nearest medical care?
    Dial 911. We will provide the nearest clinic/hospital details in your pre‑arrival email and on the Plan Your Trip page.
  24. Where can I launch or store my own boat?
    Launch from the resort shoreline. Keep boats secured at the dock; the dock is not designed for jet skis. —
